- Brothers' Reading: 5-6PM, 30 ajzaa
The circle will be reading 30 ajzaa in the month of Ramadan. Particpants must be able to read fluently from the Qur'an. In the Khairukum program, participants read 1 or half of a Juz’ every day in Ramadan under the supervision of a facilitator, to complete 30 or 15 Ajzaa’ over the course of the month. In each reading circle, the facilitator allows each participant to read a portion of the Juz’ aloud while the others read to themselves, cycling through the participants until the Juz’ or half the Juz’ is completed.

For those who are not able to commit to a full-time hifzh program, the Qur’an Institute offers a part-time memorization option. These classes are individually paced and are conducted four times a week. They are open to boys and girls and adult brothers and sisters, who can read fluently from the mus-haf. Depending on the individual pacing, students have been able to memorize between one and five ajzaa in this class during the academic year. Constant review of previously memorized portions is also incorporated into the class.
