Resource permitting, we will launch an Edward William Lane Award in the near future. Initially the award will be given to those who are using Lane's Lexicon in the most creative ways in the service of humanity. I came up with this idea after reading responses by various students and professor: http://www.quraninstitute.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=53

Resource permitting, other categories of the Award will be developed.
