The "Qur'an As It Explains Itself" Project
What started in December 2001 as the "Qur'an As I Understand" (QAIU) Project is now available as the online version of the "Qur'an As It Explains Itself" book.
The salient features of the QXP are:
- Lughat-al-Quraish, that is, the language spoken by Prophet Muhammad (sa)
- Tasreef, that is, the ability of looking at issues from different vantage points.
- Ability to see the "Big Picture" of the Qur'an, that is, to understand the driving principles behind the Qur’an.
- Ability to critically analyze "Secondary Islamic Source Material".

Salaam,
I have dowloaded this Quran translation and I do not have a way to print it out because it is so long. Are there copies available for sale?
Thanks,
Fatima

Fatima, Salamun Alaikum
FREE is a very important Qur'anic concept. Check this out:
26:109 And no reward, whatever, do I ask for it. My reward rests with none but the Lord of the Worlds.
So we prefer that people download our work from our website FREE of cost.
Also, printed version of Qur'anic exegeses are a "liability" because we will continue to enhance the online version as our understanding of the Qur'an improves. Our ancestors did not have a choice and had to use paper. We do have a choice and we prefer to exercise it by staying as "bitwise" as possible. :)
That said, limited number of hard copies, with ALL the imperfections, are available at $25 plus shipping.
